The Guerneville and Russian River GLBT Story: A Talk with Gerry Takano

Learn about the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, and Transgender history of Guerneville and the Russian River, as well as the work that still  needs to be done to explore, initiate, and promote our GLBT History. 

Gerry Takano was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He studied architecture in New York and worked in the Boston Region. While with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Gerry organized the first of its kind national conference, Looking Back and Forward: Significant Places of the GLBT Community held in San Francisco in 2001,
